Meet Your Host | A Passion for Authentic Portuguese Stays

About the Host

Hello! My name is Inês, and I have been an entrepreneur since 2008. I began my career as a nutritionist, always working independently, and early on I realised that creating my own path was what truly fulfilled me. This initial experience gave me the confidence to continue developing independent projects, always with purpose, dedication and authenticity.

In 2015, I launched creative projects that allowed me to explore my artistic side and work with Portugal’s extraordinary textile and woodworking industries. Through hard work, I transformed ideas into brands with their own identity — and within a few years, some were reaching clients worldwide. It was during this time that I truly learned about design, textures, colour, and all aspects of the creative production world. This experience left a lasting mark and strengthened my passion for creating, innovating and showcasing the best of Portugal.

In 2021, by a happy coincidence, I entered the world of short-term rentals. Since then, I have managed all kinds of properties — from rooms in shared apartments to full houses, including boats — across various regions of Portugal, from Faro to Ericeira. Currently, I am focused on the Lisbon, Cascais and Ericeira areas, through my company IGF Living, marking a new phase of growth, professionalism and dedication in the sector.

For me, managing properties for people who don’t have the time or aren’t in Portugal is a true passion. I do it with commitment, ensuring that the assets entrusted to me are maximised for revenue, while also being cared for with professionalism and attention.

To provide the best service, I continually pursue ongoing training, both through Turismo de Portugal and private institutions. I am passionate about sailing, having completed RYA courses, and about interior design, colour and lighting — always seeking to learn and innovate.

Along the way, I have built a fantastic team, composed of professionals in cleaning, maintenance, decoration and design, as well as legal and accounting advisors, working closely in partnership with real estate agencies — all treated as integral members of my team. I am also a member of ALEP, which allows me to stay fully updated on legislation and market developments.

Today, I look back on my journey with gratitude and enthusiasm. Being an entrepreneur and a short-term rental manager is not just what I do — it is who I am. Every project I have undertaken has shaped me into who I am today, reinforcing the certainty that creating, evolving and building my own path is what truly makes me feel complete.

Hello! I'm Inês, and I've been an entrepreneur since 2008. I started my career as a nutritionist, always self-employed, and early on I realized that creating my own path was what truly fulfilled me. This initial experience gave me the confidence to continue developing independent projects, always with purpose, dedication, and authenticity.

In 2015, I brought creative projects to life that allowed me to explore my artistic side and work with the extraordinary textile and wood industries in Portugal. With great commitment, I transformed ideas into brands with their own identity—and, in a few years, some reached clients worldwide. It was during this phase that I truly learned about design, textures, color, and everything involved in the world of creative production. This experience marked me and reinforced my passion for creating, innovating, and taking the best of Portugal further afield.

In 2021, by chance, I entered the world of Local Accommodation. Since then, I have managed all types of properties — from apartments by room to entire houses, including boats — in various regions of Portugal, from Faro to Ericeira. Currently, I am focused on the Lisbon, Cascais, and Ericeira region with my company, IGF Living, marking a new phase of growth, professionalism, and dedication in the sector.

For me, managing properties for those who don't have time or aren't in Portugal is a true passion. I do it with commitment, ensuring that the assets of those who entrust me with their homes are used in the best possible way, but also cared for with professionalism and attention.

To offer the best service, I constantly train, both with Turismo de Portugal and private entities. I am passionate about sailing, having completed courses with the RYA, and about decoration, color, and lighting, always seeking to learn and innovate.

Along the way, I have developed a fantastic team, composed of cleaning, maintenance, decoration, and design professionals, as well as legal and accounting advisors — all treated as an integral part of my team.

I also work in close partnership with Jade Group, a real estate company with many years of experience in luxury real estate.

I am also a member of ALEP, keeping myself always updated on laws and market developments.

Today, I look at my journey with gratitude and enthusiasm. Being an entrepreneur and manager of Local Accommodation is not just what I do: it's who I am.
